Last autumn saw the introduction of Keys To The City when a motley collection of overused and oddly decorated pianos appeared randomly in the streets of Beacon. It was surprising, even in a town as eccentric as ours. But the public, especially musicians, soon took to the idea and before long music was emerging from the most unexpected places. And Beacon residents were revealing a surprising range of musical skill.
